when you open up Turbo Tax, there will be a choice on amending a ta return.

You must file out a paper 1040X and form 5405. You cannot amend your taxes through turbo tax e-file. You have to mail in your amendment and form 5405.

It would be just as simple to do it manually.
The credit goes on line 15.
Due to delays and the level of fraud, attach a copy of your closing statement, highlighting the seller name, the buyer name, the address, date and purchase price.
