I have a personal finance blog http://www.vatsinvesting.com and I want to know how I can increase traffic to this blog. I want people to share news/ideas/resources about the personal finance on my blog but haven’t got much traffic there.

Firstly you need to perform some Search Engine Optimisation to maximise your exposure to search engines and increase your position in the search engine results page (SERP). You must do to link your website to some high ranking forums and blogs. Search for some high rank (Pr4+) forums and blogs, related to your subject and participate in active discussions. Add your link in signature. When your site will be pointed by 30 Pr4 links, your site rank will be boosted to atleast 3. This will drive much traffic to your website.
